Recently a journalist did a research about film directors. For the majority the most difficult thing in their occupation is not the hectic, the bad payment or the fact that they have to decide a thousand things in one second, no, it consisted of the long, long periods of waiting, being at the mercy of others.

Bargain and haggle
Filmmaking is an occupation for dreamers and I’m a very persistent dreamer, especially when you consider that few if any scripts reach the screen. Since our dream is getting more and more real, the game of bargain and haggle has started; penny-pinching about locations, studio’s, salary’s etc.

Fight and write
