Maps and holes

I’m drawing the map of the small desert town I created in the script. It’s called Fairlands.
With an extreme feeling of happiness I watched my producers reading the last version of my script of ‘The Bird Can’t Fly’, which I finished yesterday.

They loved it from scene 1 to scene 139 (the last). I know that details will change again when I start working with the actors, but what I wrote is the way I think it should be and I have to confess I’m very proud about it.

After giving their feedback my producers had a meeting about… well, money, of course! Here they were less excited, for there’s still a small hole in our budget. I just listened to their clever juggling with numbers.
Today they’ve meetings at the Rotterdam film-festival market, they’ll talk with sales agents, distributors and people like that.
