Not very often I have the opportunity to make a double photo. See photo: Yusuf during the ADR with a plastic chair! The little boy has done a good job. I picked him up from the rough township were he lives and brought him back into the rich world of sophisticated South Africa. Sometimes I’m worried what his future will be and what will happen when the film gets released. His world is so violent and tough.
I see all the tourist hanging around in the big shopping malls. Young backpackers discovering the world. None of them goes to the places where most people live here, and sometimes that makes me very angry.
