I just signed a contract with Querido, a renowned Dutch publishing house. They will publish my new novel ‘De stille stad’ (The Silent City) this year. I’m proud and excited about this switch, which is very challenging for me. (photo my new editor and publisher Annette Portegies)
But I’m very sad too because my old publishing house Vassallucci, who published my first two novels, is swallowed up by the darkness, or in other words ‘how do white-collars destroy adventurous ones’. The horror at the moment is that PCM (the Mother Company) is emptying Vassallucci. So on the moment of the big disappearing trick nobody will cry.
And the film! My Irish producer is in the midst of his negotiations about the SAG requirements (the actors union in USA). We are getting closer every day.
