I just sent my manuscript – over 400 pages – to my publisher. This is a big thing for me. The first step of the new novel into the big world, from now on it’s not only mine anymore.
Which is in time, because the film is on the point of starting. I’m very busy with the casting and the first production meeting has been done. While writing is one of the loneliest jobs in the world, making a feature film is the opposite. So I’m not only going into a new project but also into a new world with a totally different energy, different rules and most of all with other people!
Today I’m gonna clean my studio. Take all the photos and post-its from the walls and windows which have been the inspiration and guideline for my novel. It all has to go, so my head and mind are free to change.
