faroe islands 27

I just missed the ferry to Suderoy. Not because I overslept but because my car broke down.

In the garage they found out an important gear-wheel had broken and I didn’t like to take the risk to continue my trip with a not functioning car. From the garage I saw the boat sailing away.

When it was repaired I went to the public library, which for some strange reason always was closed when I wanted to visit. Now it was open and I found all sorts of knowledge I was desperately looking for.

I was double lucky because the first thing I saw, was an exhibition of local medicinal herbs, something I’ve been trying to get information about since I started my research and which seems to be forgotten.
Tonight I’ll sail to Suderoy, the most southern island, and again I’ve no idea when I’ll have access to internet again for my next blog.
