Very bad news reached me. Leigh Tanchel passed away.
Leigh was the most fantastic 1st AD that you can imagine. During the shoot of ‘The Bird Can’t Fly’ he was my absolute prop and stay. He whispered advises and tips in my ear, without anybody noticing. He explained me the rules of a film-set but did it so modestly that I almost thought I already knew the rules. Leigh Tanchel gave me more than only his support and backing and I’m very grateful for that.
Motorrrraria is a strange book crammed with motorcycle stories and will be launched this summer. Last week I did a photo shoot with the fastest Dutch woman on two wheels and writer and artist Jan Cremer.
I’m very busy with setting up new projects, while the publicity around my new novel still grows.
