For nine years now I keep this weblog up to date. All those years I update it very regularly, there were always exciting projects, unexpected trips abroad or complicated enterprises to fulfill. But this period is different. I turned down three fantastic invitations and gave myself, for the first time in my life, the chance not to work under an extreme deadline or in a ‘pressure cooker process’. That doesn’t mean I’m not working. I am. Every morning I go to my studio and write on my new novel. This freedom leads to a different style of writing and a different kind of story. For outsiders all my days may seem the same and it is very hard to write a weblog about, but right now I’m in the midst of one of the biggest adventures I’ve ever been.
