Sunday 30 November was the last day of my research project in Oldenzaal. It’s been hectic last week. Six columns had to be ready on Wednesday because on Sunday we wanted to present the book with all the columns, reaction e-mails and photo’s. Thursday morning at seven o’clock it all went to the printer. Suddenly my research was over. To overcome this gap the public library had organised a lecture by me about my novel De kus van de weduwe, ending with a signing session.
We had a full house.
Friday afternoon the books were ready, and Sunday was the presentation of the booklet Threes Anna zoekt… Oldenzaal. Again the whole place was full of people.
(Herman Pleijsier during his spreech) After a critical speech by Herman Pleijsier and a farewell present of the alderman for culture I started to sign books again.
It’s weird to have suddenly two books in a year…
