life

The writing process of my new novel goes with high ups and deep downs. Normally I isolate myself completely and don’t return till I’m ready. But this time personal matters keep involving.

Last summer I stopped writing because the musician Thé Lau (who is fighting his cancer) asked me to make a film on his musical testament Platina Blues.

The last month I was drawn away from my work because my father was very ill. Last week we buried him. My father learned me how to work and how to live and he has always been very supportive in all my choices in life. I’m very grateful I was his child. (Photo 1970)

A lot of my stories deal with death, but even though mortality and loss keep pulling me away, my new novel goes about life!
