Proofs and packing

I have a new project on my site: the international research project on garden chairs
While summer is turning into autumn my novel ‘Motormoeder’ is ready and while the first proofs are being made, I’m packing my bags. Last week was overloaded with appointments and meetings, like always part of the preparatory activities before leaving for a longer trip. I’m trying to get good introductions in Tokyo.
Many people are helping me, like: Radboud Molijn from CDI JAPAN INSITE, Rhonda Tezuka from the ASSOCIATION OF FOREIGN WIVES OF JAPANESE and Caroline Pover, the writer of ‘BEING A BROAD IN JAPAN’. But the most exciting thing is that I’m going to meet friends I haven’t seen for nearly twenty years. Tokyo will be changed and my search will be about what was and what is. The start of my new novel!
